LOIS MARIE JONES

March 16, 1926- August 15, 2016
Lois Marie Jones, 90, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, at her home.
Lois was born March 16, 1926, in Hugo, Oklahoma, the daughter of Elmer and Daisy Mae Sossamon.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Ralph S. Patterson Jr. and wife Velma of Morgan City; four grandchildren, Jeremy Swanson, Dwayne Dupre and wife Cherie, Nicole Atkinson and husband Kord, and Christopher Patterson and fiancé Kandie Foret; six great-grandchildren, Dillon Swanson, Amber Swanson, Jailee Swanson, Ashley Swanson, Samantha Stansbury and Aimee Stansbury; one great-great-grandchild, Kylie Klenert; one brother, Carl Sossamon; and one sister, Laura Mae Sossamon.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Daisy Mae Sossamon; husband, Ralph S. Patterson Sr.; a grandson, Eric Swanson; and three sisters, Wanda Sossamon, Sue Williams and Peggy Williams.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at Twin City Funeral Home with a visitation being held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
