Lynn John Champagne Sr., a native and former resident of Franklin and current resident of Sorrel, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 63 on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Franklin Foundation Hospital. He had a love of the water and enjoyed fishing, cutting his grass, and telling stories. He was an employee of the St. Mary Sugar Co-Op for the past nine years. His true passion in life though was his grandkids. He will be sorely missed by his family and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
The family will hold a private memorial service Saturday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. at 19135 Highway 182 West, Lot 3, Jeanerette. For more information call Keeley at 337-789-7593.
