MARDELL MARY BURGESS

Mardell Mary Burgess, 91, a native and a resident of Patterson, died Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 11:15 a.m., at the AMG Specialty Hospital-Lafayette in Lafayette.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson, from 8:30 a.m. until Rosary at 10 a.m., following funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mardell leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Terry Burgess and Adell Burgess, both of Patterson; two daughters, Sandra Bradford and Sheena Roberson, both of Patterson; three sisters, Anna Vinning and Geraldine Verdun, both of Patterson, and Enola Walker of Verdunville; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Mrs. Burgess was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
