MARJIE BOWMAN CHAMPLIN

Marjie Bowman Champlin, 77, a native of Topeka, KS and resident of Morgan City, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Morgan City Health Care Center surrounded by her family.
Survivors include her three daughters, Jackie C. Alcina, Leona “Irene” C. Verdin and Betty C. Andrews; grandchildren, Dallas E. Theriot Jr. and his wife, Martina; Douglas E. Thibodeaux Jr., Jonathan E. Thibodeaux, Stephanie A. Verdin, Jeannie M. Andrews, Justin M. Andrews; great grandchildren, Sebastian P. Bachinger, Rhiannon R. Maze, Alijah A. Johnson, Josiah E. Thibodeaux, Darius J. Colar, Nadya N. Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Laures Edwin Champlin; parents, George Olivier Bowman and Inez Brobst Bowman; two sisters, Margaret Mopin, Leona I. Fosdick; and her brother, George W. Bowman.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
