MARVA COLBERT-HINES

Marva Colbert-Hines, 66, a native of St. Mary Parish and a resident of Four Corners, died Thursday, December 11, 2014, at 7:13 a.m., at her residence.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, Dec. 20 at the Macedonia Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Sorrel Community Cemetery in Sorrel, with the Rev. Carl Lewis officiating.
Cherished and divine memories of Marva will forever be remembered by her loving and devoted children, Mrs. Ronald (Trinette) Casimier of TN, Mrs. Alonza (Brandi) Edmond and Malika Hines, both of Jeanerette; three brothers, Darrell Colbert Sr. and Leonard Colbert Sr., both of Four Corners, and Roy N. Colbert Sr. of Alexandria; six sisters, Cora Bryant, Amelia Colbert and Gloria Washington, all of New Orleans, Laura Selders of LaPlace, LA, Louise Williams of Jeanerette, and Mrs. Larry (Luada) Washington of Four Corners; three grandchildren; a special friend, as well as several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Ms. Hines was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.
