Mary L. Pierron

Mary L. Pierron, 57, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Mary was born on Dec. 13, 1956, in Lafayette, the daughter of Etienne and Hazel Thibodeaux Lyons.
Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Whitney F. Pierron of Morgan City; stepdaughter, Stacy Giroir and husband, Roy, of Berwick; three grandchildren, Courtney Aucoin, Hunter Aucoin and Bre Anna Giroir; one brother, James Lyons of Bayou Vista; six nieces, Christina Lyons, Stephanie Lyons, Samantha Lyons, Jessica Lyons, Kelly Oubre and Patricia Hebert; one nephew, Anthony Lyons; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and one niece, Diana Hebert.
A service of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at Lighthouse Community Church in Berwick. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the church.
