MICKEL LOUIS BOATMAN

Mr. Mickel Louis Boatman, 57, a resident of Dallas, TX and native of Franklin, died Friday, June 10, 2016, at 5:45 p.m., at Methodist Dallas Medical Center following a short illness.
A memorial service only will be held June 18, at New Mount Horeb Baptist Church Saturday, June 18, at 11 a.m., with officiating minister, Rev. James F. Otis.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Rosemary Hall of Franklin; stepmother, Ms. Carolyn Boatman of Franklin; four brothers, Joseph Boatman Jr. of Baton Rouge, Jerry Hall of Franklin, Robert Hall of Gray, LA and Deric McDaniel of Sioux, IA; five sisters, Sandra McDonald of Houston, TX, Belva Notto and Karen Carter Matthews, both of Franklin, Yolander Richard of Marrero and Debra Declouet of Baldwin; one adopted sister, Clara Starks of Franklin; one godchild, Alayziah Notto; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Boatman was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his father and one brother.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
