MR. DARELL ‘D.J.’ JOHN MANEAUX

Mr. Darrell “D.J.” John Maneaux, 56, a resident of New Orleans and native of Lafayette, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 6:35 a.m., at his residence following a short illness.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, August 13, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Otis Mortuary, Inc. Chapel in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with Bishop Alvin Davis officiating. Interment will follow in St. Jules Catholic Church Cemetery in Franklin.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lisa Ann Lockett Maneaux of Baldwin; two sons, Byron Vincent of Dallas, TX and Darrell John Maneaux Jr. of St. Martinville; six daughters, Miss Dequillia Maneaux and Darnisha Maneaux, both of Baldwin, Miss Denisea Harris of Sugarland, TX, Miss Saysha Adams and Mrs. Chasity Latique, both of New Iberia, and Destini Maneaux of New Orleans; three brothers, Martin Maneaux Jr. of New Orleans, Marcus Maneaux of Spokane, WA and Donald Maneaux Sr. of Baldwin; one sister, Miss Prunella Maneaux of Austin, TX; and 14 grandchildren.
Mr. Maneaux was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
