MR. THOMAS E. COCKE SR. (TOMMY)

Mr. Thomas E. Cocke Sr. (Tommy) died January 13, 2015 at Union General Hospital in Farmerville, LA.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015, from 10 a.m. to service time, at 1 p.m., at Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton.
Mr. Cocke is survived by his wife, Effie Mae Roddy Cocke; daughter, Winifored Hodge and her husband, Michael (Mike); son, Thomas Cocke Jr. and wife, Sharon; brother, David Cocke and wife, Florence; sister, Mary Alice (Sue) and her husband, Leroy Bell; and stepchildren, Curtis Gonsoulin, Iris Gonsoulin and companion, Richard Allemond, Tony Gonsoulin, Chavalene Gonsoulin and companion, Greg Leblanc, Mark Gonsoulin, Francis Gonsoulin and wife, Kimberly (Kim) and Kathie Roddy; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Cocke Jr. and Lilly Darden Cocke.
Effie would like to extend her thanks to the Pastor Bobby Hodnett of Little Pass Baptist Church and all the prayers for the family and the donations that were given as a love offering. Thank you so much. I am so grateful for wonderful friends. Effie Cocke.
I would like to add a special thanks to Tommy’s sitter, Mr. Harry Davis for months and months of taking care of him at his bedside, always doing what it takes to make him comfortable. Thank you, Mr. Harry. We love you, Effie.
Also, thank you goes to my granddaughter, Heather Durocher, who came to his bedside every night to make him comfortable. Thank you, Heather. I love you very much. Maw Maw, Effie.
