New CEO arrives at FFH

Franklin Foundation Hospital is currently under new management after Stephanie Atkins-Guidry accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer of the facility after a months-long process to replace interim CEO Craig Cudworth.
Guidry brings decades of experience to the job having been active in the medical and hospital management industry since the early 90s. Guidry said her goals for FFH and the responsibility of CEO is to provide high-quality health care for the people of St. Mary Parish.
“I’m very excited about this,” Guidry said. “This is a great hospital and it serves a great service to the people here. My main focus is community and physician relations and making sure we are serving the citizens of Franklin and St. Mary Parish.”
Guidry said what attracted her to the position of CEO and the community included the people she had encountered during the interview process.
“This is a very warm, embracing community,” Guidry said. “I’m excited about becoming a part of the community. My primary focus is how to serve the community.”
Guidry’s background includes leadership positions as CEO and CNO at the USMD Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas; administrator of multiple facilities; chief nursing officer at the Medical Centre Surgical Hospital in Fort Worth; director of surgical services in Granbury, Texas; program director and All Saints Wound Management; nurse manager at All Saints Health System; and clinical manager of the Curative Wound Care Center at the All Saints Health System in Fort Worth.
Guidry received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Texas Christian University in 1990 and her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Services degree at the University of Dallas in 2001.
