Ruth Ann Gautreaux Hebert, 74, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 06:31 a.m.
She was a native of Berwick, Louisiana, and resident of Houma.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, from 6 p.m.until 9 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home with a rosary being said at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday, March 26, from 9 a.m until service time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Interment will at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jules Anthony Hebert Sr., children Jules "Butch" Hebert Jr. (Paula), Julie Carlos (Clark), Diana Marcel, Erica Dupre (Clark "Boobie"), Lee Guidry (Robbie), and Edric Hebert (Shannon); grandchildren Stefanie Verret, Jonathan Hebert, Jamie Trahan, Kelly Parfait, Christopher Carlos, Melissa Marcel, Adam Marcel, Lauren Dupre, Hunter Dupre, Tiffany Boling, Robbie Guidry, Jr, Deric Hebert, and Randy Sagona Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren with two great grandchildren on the way; brother Michael Gautreaux (Debbie) of Mobile, Alabama; and sisters Myrna Vinning (Melvin) of Patterson and Rita Bernucho of Mobile.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edric Anthony Gautreaux and Lucia Garnet Adams Gautreaux; her brother, Edric Gautreaux; her sister, Ramona Gautreaux; a grandson, Philip Hebert; and three nephews, Ronald and James Beaver and Ryan Gautreaux
Ruth was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Ruth loved sewing for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing Pokeno with her friends. She also enjoyed fishing, especially crabbing. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family.
