SAM ‘SAMMY SALVADOR VACCARELLA III

Memorial services will be held Friday, August 1, 2014, at a 1 p.m. Memorial Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin for Sam “Sammy” Salvador Vaccarella III, a native of Franklin and a 40-year resident of Baldwin, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 63 Tuesday afternoon at his home. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass. Fr. Gregory Cormier will officiate the services. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Vaccarella, Mike Vaccarella, Frankie Vaccarella, Jody Vaccarella, Dana Vaccarella, Ardley Kern, Jean-Paul Bourgeois and Lenny Guillotte.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Lorraine Ann Breaux Vaccarella; three children, Chris Vaccarella, Laurie Vaccarella and Inga Rose Vaccarella; five siblings, Mike Vaccarella, Tana Vaccarella, Frankie Vaccarella and his wife, Ruda; Jody Vaccarella and his wife, Janet; and Dana Vaccarella and his wife, Nicole; one brother-in-law, Steven Breaux; two sisters-in-law, Ceil Coleman and Karen Martin; two godchildren, Lenny Guillotte and Jada Kern; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Salvador Vaccarella Jr. and Rosemary Buteau Vaccarella; parents-in-law, Chester Breaux and Emily Dell Stevens Breaux; and a brother-in-law, Armand Breaux.
