TARLTON ANTHONY BLANCO SR.
January 5, 1927 — March 1, 2015
Tarlton Anthony Blanco Sr., 88, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at his residence.
Tarlton was born on Jan. 5, 1927, in Stephensville, the son of Joseph and Felicite Blanco.
Tarlton loved being outdoors, spending time with his family and taking camping trips. He enjoyed gardening along with fishing and hunting. Tarlton was an exceptional gardener who could grow the largest vegetables. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Verna Mae Blanco of Morgan City; three sons, Anthony Blanco and Roy Blanco, both of Patterson, and Ted Blanco and wife Christine of Morgan City; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Enola Blanco of Patterson.
Tarlton was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Felicite Blanco; three brothers, Adam Blanco, Sidney Blanco and Dudley Blanco; along with three sisters, Noemie Blanco, Norma Blanco and Elodie Blanco.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Holy Cross Church from 10 a.m. until time of mass at noon. Tarlton will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the Mass of Christian Burial.
