The Patterson High School fishing team of Ian Doucet, left, and Hayden Pinho placed fourth in action this past weekend on the Calcasieu River. They are part of the B.A.S.S. Nation High School State Tournament Trail. On Oct. 10, they placed third in the Lake Henderson Tournament. The third and fourth-place finishes qualify them for the state tourney at San Miguel State Park on Toledo Bend April 23. They will fish one other tournament on Bayou Segnette March 20.
