'Jacks to host Lutcher in the first round

Patterson High School is riding a wave of momentum heading into Friday’s Class 3A first-round playoff game against Lutcher.

The Patterson High School fishing team of Ian Doucet, left, and Hayden Pinho placed fourth in action this past weekend on the Calcasieu River. They are part of the B.A.S.S. Nation High School State Tournament Trail. On Oct. 10, they placed third in the Lake Henderson Tournament.
