Two area high school football games have been moved to Thursday night to avoid projected showers Friday.
Patterson slipped a spot in Class 3A, while Central Catholic remained idle in Class 1A, according to the latest Louisiana Sports Writers Association prep football polls released today.

Patterson secured a piece of the District 8-3A title Friday by blitzing North Vermilion 62-17.
Patterson and Central Catholic High School were the area's two winners in Week 9 of the high school football season.
