Morgan City Junior High volleyball coach Allise Jennings collects a donation from Patterson State Bank, presented by Asia Breaux, head teller in Morgan City. The volleyball team held its third annual walkathon Saturday and its Pink Game Thursday. The funds raised during these events will be donated to Miles Perret Cancer Services and will be dispersed to families in the area undergoing cancer treatment that may be in need of assistance.

The funds will be used to provide prizes for raffles that are held at the end of every nine-week period at school. Students with honor roll, principal’s list, perfect attendance, and good behavior are entered into the drawing for a chance to receive the grand prize.
