SLU season ticket holders invited to Aug. 13 appreciation event

HAMMOND — Southeastern Louisiana Athletics will invite 2016 Lion football season ticket holders to the inaugural Kickoff Appreciation event Aug. 13 at Strawberry Stadium.
The event is scheduled for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is open to 2016 football season ticket holders only. Fans wishing to purchase season tickets will also have an opportunity to do so at the event.
Fans are asked to enter Strawberry Stadium at the southwest corner of the stadium near the Billups Room entrance. Refreshments will be available with the event, which will be held in conjunction with the Lions’ 7 p.m. scrimmage.

The Lions’ home schedule opens with a 6 p.m. Southland Conference game versus rival Northwestern State on Sept. 24 and also includes visits by McNeese State (Oct. 8), Houston Baptist (Oct. 22, homecoming), Central Arkansas (Oct. 29) and Abilene Christian (Nov. 12).
