Lots of prep baseball action April 21

Patterson jumped out to a 9-0 lead and held on to beat Franklin 11-5 in District 9-3A play Tuesday in Franklin.
Jamey Fabre pitched six innings to pick up the win for the Lumberjacks (14-11, 4-2). Fabre surrendered five hits, four earned runs, six strikeouts and a walk. Bryce Beaubouef closed the game, pitching an inning and surrendering a run.
Leading hitters were Fabre, 1-for-3 with two runs; Kenny Singleton, 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run; Tyrik Singleton, 1-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs; and Jake LaGrange, 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs. Also adding to the stats were Joel Singleton, 1-for-4 with two RBIs and a run; Brad Beaubouef, 1-for-3 with two RBIs; Brennan Gouaux, three runs; and Bryce Beaubouef, an RBI.
Patterson will host Franklin Thursday at 5 p.m.
E.D. White 9, Berwick 0
The Panthers committed nine errors and managed just four hits in a District 9-3A loss Tuesday in Thibodaux.
Neil Theriot took the loss for Berwick High School on the mound. He tossed three innings, allowing four runs (unearned) on two hits with a strikeout. Nick Mayon pitched the last three innings, giving up five runs (four unearned) on four hits with three K’s and three walks.
Berwick (17-10, 4-2) returns to action Thursday at Patterson.
Leading hitters for the Panthers were Daniel Gray, 1-for-3 with a double; Bradley Gray and D.J. Robicheaux, both 1-for-3; and Justin Morvant, 1-for-4.
E.D. White’s (23-5, 7-0) pitchers combined for 12 strikeouts.
Central Catholic 10,
Lafayette Christian 0
The Eagles pounded out nine hits and Charlie Solar kept Lafayette Christian’s (2-10, 1-5) batters guessing.
Solar tossed a complete game, allowing no hits and three base on balls.
Leading hitters included Stefano Guarisco, 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs; Mitchell Lemoine, 1-for-4; Thomas Garber, 1-for-3 with an RBI; Blake Hidalgo, 1-for-1, an RBI and a run; Charlie Barron, 1-for-2 with two runs; Patrick Barron, 2-for-3, three RBIs and a run; T.J. Ruffin, two RBIs; Matthew Barbier, 1-for-4; and Adam Dupuis, three runs.
CCHS (18-4, 8-1) stays in District 7-1A play today hosting Ascension Episcopal (13-8) at 6 p.m.
