Patterson picks up first win of season

Patterson High School picked up its first win of the Chad Blanchard-era with a 41-20 victory at home against Vandebilt Catholic Friday.
The Lumberjacks joined Central Catholic, a 48-26 winner against Highland Baptist Thursday, as the area's week 4 winners.
Morgan City fell at home Friday to Livonia, 56-27, while Berwick dropped its homecoming contest Friday to KIPP Renaissance, 56-31.
