CCHS wins season opener

Central Catholic opened its season with a sweep of Highland Baptist, 25-22, 25-12, 25-13.
As a team, Central Catholic had 38 kills and hit for a 0.369 clip.

feature a pair of 1,000-yard rushers. Bronte Griffin of Highland Baptist,
who leads the state in rushing with 1,300 yards and is fourth in scoring
with 122 points will be in action along with Central Catholic’s Stefano

Central Catholic High School fell to Central Lafourche 3-2 (15-25, 18-25, 28-26, 25-14, 12-15) in volleyball action Tuesday.
