The Morgan City High School Lady Tigers defeated H.L. Bourgeois 22-5 Wednesday at Creole Lanes in Houma.
Meghan Amador and Hannah Pipes led Morgan City with series of 566 and 558, respectively. Amador bowled games of 179, 183 and 204, while Pipes had games of 169, 181 and 208.
Other top games bowled by Morgan City included Cayce Keton (182, 159, 134), Rylee Sartwell (157), Laura Nolazco (147) and Ali Tregle (136).
In boys’ action, Morgan City fell 23-5 to 3-5.
Hau Vo led Morgan City with a 532 series, bowling games of 193, 160 and 179.
Other top games turned in by the Tigers included Joey Jeter (205, 190) and Jayson Hidalgo (179, 164).
Also Wednesday, Central Catholic’s boys fell to Ellender 21.5 to 5.5.
Matthew David led Central Catholic with a 522 series (203, 164, 155).
Other top games turned in by Central Catholic bowlers included Josh Abney (186, 188), David Laubach (155, 182) and Kyle Autin (180, 155).
In girls’ action, Central Catholic fell 26-1.
Top games turned in for Central Catholic were Emily Price (152, 134), Katrina Robertson (142, 138), Ann Mary Dupuis (153), Christian Carbins (141) and Alex Aucoin (139).
On Monday, Central Catholic’s boys defeated Morgan City 16.5 to 10.5 at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City.
Abney led Central Catholic with a 652 series with games of 163, 246 and 238.
Other top games for Central Catholic included Laubach (168, 161, 162), Autin (158, 172, 155), Logan Booty (155) and Nick Governale (153).
Top games turned in by Morgan City included Jeter (185), Hidalgo (176), Jonathan Jones (158) and Vo (152).
In girls’ action Morgan City defeated Central Catholic 21.5-5.5.
Pipes led Morgan City with a 499 series, while Amador recorded a 480 series. Pipes bowled games of 141, 175 and 183, while Amador recorded games of 159, 148 and 173.
Other top games for Morgan City included Tregle (149, 178), Keton (147, 178) and Sartwell (158).
For Central Catholic, Price was tops with a 491 series, while Dupuis recorded a 413 series. Price recorded games of 159, 181 and 151, while Dupuis had games of 132, 145 and 136.
Other top games for Central Catholic included Aucoin’s 135 and 142.
Also Monday, Berwick’s boys defeated South Terrebonne 23-4 at Bowl South in Houma.
Aaron Barrilleaux led Berwick with a 617 series. He bowled games of 189, 227 and 201.
Three Panthers had 500-plus series as Mark Lemoine totaled a 574 series, Quentin Kelly, a 546 series and Blake Bergeron, a 502 series. Lemoine had games of 171, 246 and 157, while Kelly totaled games of 175, 193 and 178. Bergeron turned in games of 159, 184 and 159.
Other top games for the Panthers included Christopher Beltran (158, 188) and Brandon Lemoine (166).
In girls’ action, the Berwick Lady Panthers fell to South Terrebonne 19-8.
Top performers for Berwick included Josie Estay (142, 168, 186) Mickenzie Reed (143) and Micah Lambert (143).
