Area children benefit from free tennis camp

World Mission held its fourth annual tennis camp in Lawrence Park July 11 to 20, offering free tennis lessons to youths ages 5 to 18 years old. Back row from left are U.S. Professional Tennis Association Instructor Patrick Ferry, Xylan Caldwell, Darius Preston, D’Arron Mitchell, Jamahla Caldwell and Bishop Jerry T. Hebert, World Mission president. Also taking part was Scarlet Floyd and Isabella Floyd. World Mission expressed thanks its sponsors Walmart, Walgreens, Wilson Sports and Leon Kahn, many volunteers and the mayor and city of Morgan City for helping to make the camp a success.
