Baseball, softball tryouts slated

X-plosion Sports Academy is holding softball and baseball tryouts in August at the Bayou Vista Community Center. Participants are asked to arrive an hour ahead of their allotted time slot.
Baseball tryouts are Aug. 20. Ages and times are: 8 and under, 9 a.m.; 9 and under, 10 a.m.; 10 and under, 11 a.m.; 11 and under, 1 p.m.; 12 and under, 2 p.m.; 13 and under, 3 p.m.; 14 and under, 4 p.m.; and 15 and under, 5 p.m.
Softball tryouts are Aug. 21. Ages and times are: 8 and under, 9 a.m.; 10 and under, 10 a.m.; 12 and under, 11 a.m.; 14 and under, 1 p.m.; 16 and under, 2 p.m.; and 18 and under, 3 p.m.
