HORSESHOE PITCHERS ASSOCIATION DOUBLES Championship was held June 9 at the Moose Lodge in Shreveport. Class A: 1st place, Junior McCowin and Tina Stanley, both of Monroe (4-1, 20.00); 2nd place, Ronnie Ellis and Hannah Ellis of Shreveport (3-2, 22.00); and third place, Tim Gilmore of Bayou Vista and Mike Richardo of Shreveport (3-2, 35.33).
