Dixie Youth North Regional times set

The start of the Louisiana AAA Minors and Majors Dixie Youth North Regionals will begin Saturday morning at Caffery Park.
In Majors -- or the 12-year-old division -- Morgan City and Dequincy will kick things off at 10 a.m., followed by West Ouachita and Franklinton Americans at noon. Union Parish will meet host Franklin at 2:30 p.m. before Girard and Alexandria conclude the day with a 4:30 p.m. contest.
In AAA Minors -- or 10-year-old action -- Morgan City and Moss Bluff Nationals will meet in the day's first game at 10 a.m., followed by South Sabine and Franklinton Americans at noon.
At 2:30 p.m., Patterson will face the Shreveport Americans, followed by West Monroe South and Franklin at 4:30 p.m.
The tournament's start was moved to Saturday after the first day of the tournament was washed out due to inclement weather.
At the Louisiana AAA Minors and Majors Dixie Youth South Regionals in Metairie, action also was washed out due to inclement weather, pushing the tournament back a day.
Now, St. Mary Central's 10-year-old and 12-year-old All Stars' openers will be played Saturday instead of Friday.
St. Mary Central's 10s will play at 2 p.m. against the Franklinton Americans, while the St. Mary Centrals 12s will meet Jefferson at 2 p.m. Saturday.
