LSU Tiger Tracks on CST
BATON ROUGE — LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 7:30 p.m. today on Cox Sports Television, according to an LSU news release. The show will be replayed at 5 p.m. Thursday and 4 p.m. Friday.
The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.
LSU Tiger Tracks begins with a preview of the Dec. 29 Texas Bowl matchup between LSU and Texas Tech, who will meet on the gridiron for the first time since 1957, and just the third time overall.
The show continues with a visit to the studio from softball coach Beth Torina, who discusses the outlook for the 2016 season that begins Feb. 12 when the Tigers face Ohio State in Tiger Park.
LSU Tiger Tracks concludes with a look at some of the students who have received scholarships through the university’s philanthropic giving program.

USSSA Junior Golf entries sought
USSSA Junior Golf will host the Mizuno/USSSA Holiday Classic Junior Golf Championship Dec. 19 and 20 at Gray Plantation Golf Course in Lake Charles.
Entry is open to boys and girls ages 9 to 18 in varying divisions of play. Boys and girls ages 12 to 18 will play 36 holes (18 per day) while boys and girls ages 9 to 11 will play nine holes per day.
Entry fee for ages 12 to 18 is $175, and for ages 9 to 11 is $100. All golfers must be USSSA registered. USSSA Junior Golf registration is free.
Golfers ages 12 to 18 will be divided into 12 to 14 and 15 to 18 divisions of play.
Deadline to enter the Holiday Classic Junior Golf Championship is 10 p.m. Dec. 16.

La. Tech upcoming showcase, camps
RUSTON — Head baseball coach Greg Goff and the Louisiana Tech Baseball program have announced that online registration is now available for the upcoming 2016 Louisiana Tech high school showcase, which is scheduled for Jan. 16, 2016.
The high school showcase is a one-day pro-style workout for grades 9-12 where campers will participate in a morning workout before competing in games in the afternoon in Ruston. The cost for the showcase is $110 per player with a T-shirt provided to participants.
The showcase will be held at the home of the Bulldogs, J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park. Participants should register online prior to the start of camp. To register for the 2015 Louisiana Tech high school showcase, sign up online at www.GregGoffBaseballCamps.com.
High school teams can also begin registration for its 2016 Team Camp which will be held June 6-9 and include a Round Robin-style format between a minimum of six teams. Cost of the team camp is $275 and includes five games, all meals, on-campus housing and daily guidance by the Louisiana Tech coaching staff.
