Sheriff's office to host hunter education classes

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office will host two hunter education classes later this month through the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.
A 10-hour hunter education classroom course will be held July 13-15 and July 18, while a Hunter Education Field Day will be held July 25.
The Hunter Education Classroom Course will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Patterson Area Civic Center on July 13-15, while the course will continue at the Patterson Area Civic Center July 18 beginning at 8 a.m.
The Hunter Education Field Day will be held at the Bayou Vista Community Center July 25 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
