In youth baseball action Friday at Spinella Park in Morgan City:
Candy Fleet upended Scully’s 11-3.
Leading hitters for Candy Fleet were Brandon Cordero, 3-for-3 with a home run; Jade Oliney, Jamyre Bias, DeonTrey Begeron and Bryce Jones, all 3-for-3; and Benjamin Case and Toby Comeaux, each 2-for-3.
Top hitters for Scully’s were Roderick Bennett, 2-for-2 with a triple; Kyle Stansbury, 1-for-2 with a triple; and Franco Saleme, Ethan Michel, Joseph Breaux and Evan Mayon, all 1-for-2.
In the second game:
Hanko’s ran past Guidry’s Orthodontics 12-3.
