Bishop Jarrell announces new pastoral assignments in the diocese

Bishop Michael Jarrell has announced the following new pastoral assignments for the Diocese of Lafayette:
Effective immediately, Reverend Monsignor Richard Mouton has been appointed to the position of Director of Evangelization for the Diocese of Lafayette, in addition to his current pastoral responsibilities.
Additional appointments, effective as of July 1 include:
Reverend Paul Bienvenu has been appointed to the Office of Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Broussard for a term of six years.
Reverend William Blanda has been appointed to the Office of Pastor of Saint Peter Parish in New Iberia for a term of six years.
Reverend Louis Richard has been appointed to the Office of Pastor of Saint Mary Magdalen Parish in Abbeville for a term of six years.
Reverend Mario Romero has been appointed to the Office of Pastor of Nativity of Our Lady Parish in New Iberia for a term of six years.
