Thanksgiving

Article Image Alt Text

Each month throughout the school year, students at Holy Cross Elementary School are engaged in service projects in response to Jesus’ command, “Feed My Lambs.” Each grade has chosen an outreach project that will benefit the community or other worthy organizations. During November, the Pre-K3 class and its teachers sponsored a food drive for the needy families in the area. Sugar, flour, canned goods, boxed foods, and personal hygiene items have been collected throughout the school to aid Holy Cross Parish’s Thanksgiving baskets for the needy. The items collected ensure that the church will be ready to respond to those in need during the upcoming holidays. With bags of items collected are Pre-K3 students Carter Wiggins, Addison Duhon, Joseph Berry, Alexzander Dinger, Elizabeth Patterson, and Nate Morice with Pre-K3 teachers Kristi Crouch and Sherrel Landry..
