Businelle and Brown joined in marriage

Desiree Nicole Businelle and Matthew David Brown exchanged vows on Saturday, April 12 at 1:30 p.m. at Keith’s Ballroom during a double-ring ceremony. Scurdy Menard officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gregory Businelle of Franklin and Tina Billiot and Shannon John Miller of Carencro.
The groom is the son of Richard and Jeanene Brown of Lafayette.
The bride, escorted by her father and Chesten Miller, wore a romantic ball gown created from layers of soft organza by Allure Bridals. The ruched bodice featured a sweetheart neckline with Swarovski crystal and pearl brooch accent. She carried a bouquet of hand-tied fresh white roses with fuchsia accents.
Mallory Norris, cousin of the bride, served as the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Jayna Sanchez, cousin of the bride; Caitlin Clement, cousin of the bride; Andrea Alleman; Skye Pace, sister of the bride and Sierra Weber.
The attendants wore marine blue, strapless dresses with multilevel skirts by Pretty Maids. The dresses featured a fitted bodice with a straight, strapless neckline and shaping gathers tucked into pin-tucked sashing at the midriff. The flared skirts fell in sheer, multilayers to a short length in the front, rippling to a shorter lettuce-edged finish in the back. They carried bouquets of fresh flowers in orange and fuchsia, hand-tied with lime green ribbon.
Devon Preston served as the best man. The groomsmen were Chance Belaire, brother of the bride; Devin Businelle, brother of the bride; John Ford, brother of the bride; Roger Queen and Sid Jolivette.
Mia Belaire, niece of the bride, served as the flower girl and Tristan Queen served as the ring bearer.
The junior bride and groom were Madelyn and Maddix Norris, godchildren of the bride.
Richard Brown, father of the groom, was the usher.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held for family and friends at Keith’s Ballroom.
The couple will reside in Lafayette.
