Madison Simmons, 9, of Berwick, left, and Anne-Alese Rentrop, 10, of Patterson, won gold medals at the Louisiana Lower Level Louisiana State Gymnastics Championship at the Alario Center in Westwego March 21. Simmons, competing in Level 1 (Division I), won gold on beam with a score of 9.65, gold
on floor with a score of 9.825, gold on bar with a score of 9.65, bronze on vault with a score of 9.525 and gold in all-around. Rentrop, competing in Level 2, (Division M) won gold on bar with a score of 9.85, bronze on floor with a score of
