Madison Simmons, 10, of Berwick won the Level 2, Division N championship at the Louisiana Gymnastics State Championship Sunday at the Alario Center in Westwego. Simmons captured gold with an all-around score of 38.2. Individual, she captured first in the vault (9.7), beam (9.825) and floor (9.55). She finished eighth in the bars at 9.125. Madison Simmons, 9, of Berwick, left, and Anne-Alese Rentrop, 10, of Patterson, won gold medals at the Louisiana Lower Level Louisiana State Gymnastics Championship at the Alario Center in Westwego March 21. Simmons, competing in Level 1 (Division I), won gold on beam with a score of 9.65, gold
on floor with a score of 9.825, gold on bar with a score of 9.65, bronze on vault with a score of 9.525 and gold in all-around. Rentrop, competing in Level 2, (Division M) won gold on bar with a score of 9.85, bronze on floor with a score of
