BERWICK — East St. Mary Parish firefighters worked tirelessly Wednesday to extinguish a massive fire Wednesday at a three-story home on the 2800 block of Third Street in Berwick.
Brenda Lee Randle, 52, of Patterson, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after a fire Tuesday at the Plantation Inn in Bayou Vista.

There was fun for the entire family in Bayou Vista on Saturday. JJ Starbuck Productions presented Octoberfest and Chee-Weez was one of the bands that provided the music. The event included live music, fun jumps, car show and food. All proceeds are being used for new equipment for the Bayou Vista Volunteer Fire Department. The event was sponsored by Divine Donuts and More, Sears, Lirette Ford, LaPoint’s Cafe and Catering, Aaron’s, author Mary Theriot and A.J. Dohmann.
