MCHS to host Berwick, Patterson in football jamboree action

The Berwick High School Lady Panthers will be looking to build upon last season’s 14-19 mark. Berwick fell in the first round of the Division III playoffs to Lusher Charter. The Lady Panthers return an experienced squad this season. Berwick will participate in Thursday’s Morgan City Jamboree where it will face Patterson in junior varsity and varsity action, beginning at 3:30 p.m., Highland Baptist in junior varsity and varsity action beginning at 5:30 p.m., and West St. Mary in junior varsity and varsity action, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Berwick team members include, seated from left, Adella Guidroz, Jordan Lipari, Emma Hover, Mary Jordan Melancon, Sydney Aucoin, Rosalyn Gros and Hannah Henry.
