Tri-City kids head back to school

St. Mary Parish schools are off to a positive first day of school despite one minor hiccup with one of the buses.

The Berwick Junior High School Panther and Lady Panther track and field teams won the team titles at the St. Mary Parish Junior High School Championship track meet March 29. Berwick’s Kyle Valdez was named boys Track MVP, while Arianna Jones and Kaylee Percle, both of Berwick, were named Co-Track MVPs on the girls side. Berwick Junior High sweeps junior high championship relays titles

Berwick Junior High swept the team titles at the St. Mary Parish Junior High Championship Relays March 29.
The Panthers scored 155 points, while the Lady Panthers totaled 153 points.
