The Central Catholic Eagles finished their regular season on a high note with a 69-31 victory against Gueydan in District 7-1A action Wednesday.

The Central Catholic Eagles are ranked No. 3 in the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association Pre-season Top 10 Class 1A Poll.

Patterson’s and Central Catholic’s baseball teams met in Amelia for a scrimmage Saturday morning as both continue their preparations for their upcoming seasons. Patterson will compete in Morgan City’s jamboree this coming weekend, while Central Catholic will travel to play in Central Lafourche’s jamboree, also on Saturday. (The Daily Review/Geoff Stoute)
