LSU Eunice to begin World Series today

LSU Eunice will begin play in the NJCAA Division II World Series in Enid, Oklahoma, today when it faces Scottsdale.
The start time for the game has been hampered by rain but now is set for 4 p.m. today.
LSU Eunice advanced to the World Series after winning the Division II Region 23 Baseball Tournament with a 6-0 victory against Hinds Community College on May 16.
Berwick High alum Nick Duthu is a freshman pitcher on the team.
