Arrests reports

Three men were arrested in a drug bust Friday after Morgan City police received a tip reporting drug use in a trailer on La. 182, Police Chief Mark Griffin said in a news release.
—Sean J. Dupont Jr., 20, of Gibson, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Friday for possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana second offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
—Dustin M. Aucoin, 23, of La. 182 in Morgan City, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Friday for possession of heroin, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia
—Rudolph P. Aucoin Jr., 48, of Rayne, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Friday for possession of heroin, possession of marijuana and possession of Schedule V CDS-Lyrica on a St. Mary Parish warrant for criminal neglect of family ($8,696.92); and a St. Mary Parish warrant for criminal neglect of family ($11,819.74).
Detectives acting on an anonymous tip located a camper trailer located in the 8100 block of La. 182 that was suspected of housing several people that were suspected of being involved in the consumption of illegal narcotics, Griffin said. Investigators located three men inside the residence and observed suspected marijuana and items of drug paraphernalia inside, Griffin said.
The suspects, identified as Dupont, Dustin Aucoin, and Rudolph Aucoin Jr., were detained. Detectives secured a search warrant for the residence and as a result of the search located cellophane bags which contained heroin, Lyrica, additional suspected marijuana and other items of drug paraphernalia. All three were jailed. Rudolph Aucoin Jr. was also found to be wanted on outstanding warrants for criminal neglect of family with a combined value of more than $20,000, Griffin said. All three remain in jail.
Morgan City Assistant Police Chief Mark Griffin Jr. reported the following arrests:
—Davey W. Gober, 56, of Patterson, was arrested at 1:04 a.m. Saturday for disturbing the peace intoxicated.
Gober was arrested after officers were dispatched to a Brashear Avenue motel in regard to a person causing a disturbance. Officers arrived and located Gober in an impaired condition.
Gober was identified as the person causing the disturbance at the front office of the motel and instructed to return to his room, Griffin said. Officers received a second complaint a short time later that Gober was again causing a disturbance, Griffin said. Gober was jailed.
—Joseph M. Price, 43, of Levee Road in Morgan City, was arrested at 8:28 a.m. Sunday on warrants for criminal trespass and contempt of court.
A patrolling officer located Price in the area of Front and Everett streets. Price was jailed, where he remains.
—Eric Leonard, 37, of Second Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 4:49 p.m. Sunday on a warrant for possession of marijuana third offense. Leonard was located at his residence on Second Street and jailed.
—Victor C. Fernandez, 38, of Franklin Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 5:05 p.m. Saturday on a warrant for failure to pay restitution for hit and run.
Fernandez was located at the Morgan City Police Department and placed under arrest on an outstanding warrant which was filed in 2013. Fernandez was released after posting a $500 fine.
—Jeremiah Richard, 26, of Arkansas Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 11:45 a.m. Monday on a St. Mary Parish warrant for failure to appear for probation review.
Officers located Richard in the area of Third and Duke streets and placed him under arrest on an outstanding warrant for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Department. He was jailed.
—Katherine V. Stoute, 22, of Mallard Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 3:22 p.m. Monday for disturbing the peace.
Officers were dispatched to a Brashear Avenue retail store in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived to hear a disturbance inside the store, Griffin said. They entered the store to discover Stoute involved in a verbal altercation with a store clerk, Griffin said. Stoute was observed using profanities and yelling, Griffin said.
Stoute, who continued to cause a disturbance, was led outside the business where she continued to create a disturbance, refusing officers requests to cease her actions and calm down. She was jailed and released after posting cash bail.
—Shannon P. Wainwright, 43, of Fifth Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 8:37 p.m. Monday for disturbing the peace and simple battery.
—Alyssa L. Ashmore, 25, of Fifth Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 8:37 p.m. Monday for simple battery and disturbing the peace.
Officers were dispatched to a Fifth Street residence regarding a fight in the middle of the street. Officers arrived and learned that Wainwright and Ashmore were involved in a physical altercation and disturbance in the roadway. Both had physical evidence of being in an altercation and were subsequently arrested, Griffin said.
During their arrest, a 15-year-old female juvenile exited a residence and began to use profanities, further causing a disturbance, Griffin said. The 15-year-old juvenile was also arrested. All three were transported to the Morgan City Police Department and jailed. The 15-year-old juvenile was booked and released to an adult pending juvenile court proceedings.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 142 complaints in the parish and reported the following arrests relating to east St. Mary Parish:
—Tonisheka M. Davis, 29, of the 200 block of Robin Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 12:08 p.m. Friday on warrants for issuing worthless checks, for failure to appear on the charges of no child restraint and careless operation of a vehicle and for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks.
A deputy located Davis at her residence on the warrants. Davis was released on a summons to appear in court April 7.
—Tammy Prevost, 40, of the 1400 block of Chatsworth Drive in Morgan City, was arrested at 4:11 p.m. Friday on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy assigned to the Warrants Division located Prevost at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. The deputy released Prevost on a summons to appear in court on April 7.
—Clay C. Broussard, 24, of the 100 block of Nini Road in Bayou Vista, was arrested at 8:47 p.m. Friday for possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy responded to a report of a possible drug law violation at a residence on Arbor Circle.
The deputy located a glass pipe used to smoke crack cocaine inside the residence belonging to Broussard, Hebert said. Broussard was jailed and released on a summons to appear in court April 7.
—William Leblanc Sr., 59, of the 1400 block of Canal Road in Bayou Vista, was arrested at 11:24 p.m. Friday on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. While responding to an unrelated complaint on Canal Road, a deputy made contact with Leblanc and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. Leblanc was jailed with bail set at $18,659.10.
—Bobbie Jo Topham, 32, of the 3100 block of La. 70 in Morgan City, was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Monday for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy learned from store personnel that Topham was seen taking items from the business without paying for the goods, Hebert said. The deputy released Topham on a summons to appear in court April 7.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported the following arrests:
—Joshua Haywood, 31, of Franklin, was arrested at 11:33 p.m. Monday for driving while intoxicated and speeding 77 mph in a 45 mph zone. Haywood registered .207 grams-percent blood alcohol content on the Intoxilyzer 5000 test. Haywood was jailed with no bail set.
—Trent Giroir, 17, of River Road in Berwick, was arrested at 12:35 p.m. Friday for disturbing the peace and leash law violation. Giroir was released on $350 bail.
—Eric Leleaux, 48, of Fourth Street in Berwick, was arrested at 3:51 p.m. Saturday for disturbing the peace by intoxication. Leleaux was released on $175 bail.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported the following arrests:
—Douglas Dickerson, 52, of the 500 block of Dangerfield Street in Patterson, was arrested at 8:21 p.m. Monday for resisting an officer by flight, speeding 34 mph in a 25 mph zone and driving under suspension. Dickerson was jailed on $895 bail.
—Chad Wiggins Jr., 23, of the 100 block of Field Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 10:12 p.m. Monday for general speed law, driving under suspension, possession of marijuana, and possession of a switch blade illegal carrying of a weapon. Wiggins was jailed on $4,318 bail.
