Lafayette authorities seek murder suspect with Tri-City ties

Lafayette Metro Narcotics has released a photo of a woman named in a second-degree murder warrant and asked for the public’s help in finding her.

Metro Narcotics, the joint city-parish drug agency, said Danielle Fromenthal is known to have family in the Tri-City area. She has been wanted since March, the agency said.

Authorities obtained the murder warrant naming Fromenthal on Oct. 27 after a lengthy investigation. She is also named in warrants for possession with intent to distribute heroin and obstruction of justice in connection with a heroin overdose in January.

Fromenthal, 33, is aware she is wanted and has evaded arrest since March 2015, Metro said.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ms. Fromenthal is urged to contact the Lafayette Metro Narcotics Task Force (337-291-5550) or Lafayette Crime Stoppers, 337 -232-TIPS.
Fromenthal’s Facebook page has a posting in which she sends her regrets for not being able to attend a 2014 Berwick High School band reunion. Also in 2014, she made a post in which she refers to the need for physical therapy for her back.

Other 2014 postings indicate that Fromenthal has worked at Bisbano’s and Artmosphere, a pair of Lafayette bar-restaurants.
