Police Repors 1-15-16

Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrests:
A 16-year-old male juvenile was arrested Wednesday and charged with curfew violation and two counts of trespassing. He was released to his parent pending a hearing in tribal juvenile court.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Jaquincy Mouton, 22, of Ninth Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 7:45 a.m. and charged on warrants on charges of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and domestic abuse battery- second offense. Mouton was processed and held with no bond set.
Jason Watson, 44, of O’Neal Chube Drive, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 7:07 p.m. and charged on a warrant for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse battery. Watson was processed and held with no bond set.
Melvin Williams, 43, of Lee Charles Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 5:27 p.m. and charged with DWI, careless operation and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies. Williams was processed and held with no bond set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Roy Verret, 50, of 121 Verret Lane, Jeanerette, was arrested Thursday at 6:50 a.m. and charged on an Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office warrant for theft by fraud and possession of stolen things. Verret was later transported to Iberia Parish.
Phillip R. Broussard, 57, of 422 Neptune St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Thursday at 12:25 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by fighting.
Nathaniel Rankins, 66, of 422 Neptune St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Thursday at 12:21 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by fighting.
Both subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking and later released on summonses to appear in court.
Bridgett Jackson, 24, of 124 Welch Lane, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 12:32 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, vehicles without required equipment, operating a vehicle without a driver’s license and failure to honor written promise to appear. Jackson was released on a $100 bail.
Destiny M. Turner, 20, of 315 Leo Drive, Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 5p.m. and charged for theft. Turner was released on a summons to appear in court.
Shawn Boudreaux, 36, of 179 Martin Road, Centerville, was arrested Thursday at 5:31 p.m. and charged for disturbing the peace. Bail on the charge is set at $250.
