Police Reports 1-6-15
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Nicholas Grimmett, 34, of Amelia, was arrested Tuesday at 9:19 a.m. and charged on a warrant for simple battery. Grimmett was released on a $500 bond.
Keith Robinson, 36, of 492 Verdun Lane, Verdunville, was arrested Tuesday at 11:01 a.m. and charged on a warrant for simple battery. Robinson was released on a $500 bond.
Kyle Rhett, 24, of 615 Leo St., Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 11:11 a.m. and charged on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. No bail was set.
Kenneth Singleton Jr., 18, 1515 Main St., Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. and charged on a warrant for aggravated cruelty to animals (principal). Singleton was released on a $2,500 personal surety bond.
Kendrick Fontenot, 34, of 1211 Samuel St., Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 3:50 p.m. and charged on warrants from Morgan City Police Department on two charges of simple assault and violation of a protective order. Fontenot was transported to the Morgan City Police Department.
Marvin Blackmon Sr., 62, of 7212 La. 182, Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 7:55 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. Bail was set at $100,000.
Brian J. Fitter, 34, of 704 Kelli Drive, Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 12:33 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of angling without a license. No bail was set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Joseph James, 34, of 813 Iberia St., Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 4:47 p.m. on charges possession of cocaine and entering contraband into a penal institution. No bail was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Regina Sinitiere, 39, of New Iberia, was arrested Tuesday at 10:57 a.m. and charged on a warrant from Iberia Parish charging her with issuing worthless checks under $500. Sinitiere was processed and transported to the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Joseph James, 34, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 3:24 p.m. by the Morgan City Police Department and charged on a warrant from Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of driver must be licensed and stop sign violation. James was also arrested on warrants dated Sept. 26, 2015, on the charges of no proof of insurance, open alcohol container, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and resisting an officer. James was also arrested on a warrant dated Oct. 6, 2015, for the charge of resisting an officer. James was processed and is being held the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Kerry Guilbeaux, 42, of Ninth Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 10:56 p.m. and charged with unauthorized use of supplemental nutrition assistance program access device, illegal carry of a weapon, possession of Schedule II narcotics (crack cocaine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Guilbeaux was processed and held with no bond.
