Police Reports 11-16-15

Franklin Police Department Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
James Wilson, 26, of Plantation Teche Drive, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 2:18 a.m. on a warrant for Morgan City City Court on a charge of failure to yield. Wilson was processed and transported to Morgan City Police Department.
Raven Butler, 24, of Iberia Stret, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 4:55 p.m. and charged with theft by shoplifting. Butler was released on a $1,000 bond.
Ervin Gant Jr., 47, of St. John Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 9:25 p.m. on a warrant for St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office charging him with failure to obtain special identification and failure to pay annual registration fee. Gant was also arrested on a warrant for the Franklin Police Department on a charge of failure to pay annual registration fees. Gant was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
Edwin Young Jr., 36, of Mary Garret Street, Charenton, was arrested Saturday at 11:41 p.m. on warrants charging him with criminal damage to property, aggravated battery and aggravated assault. Young was also arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle improperly equipped with a television. Young was released on a $17, 50 bond.
Keeira Leon, 19, of Pecan Drive, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 12:21 p.m. on a warrant on the charge of simple battery. Leon was released on a $500 bond.
Mace Copeland IV, 20, of Pecan Drive, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 12:25 p.m. and charged with simple assault. Copeland was released on a $250 bond.
Detra Thomas, 38, of Nora Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 12:50 p.m. and charged with theft by shoplifting. Thomas was released on a $1,000 bond.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Christopher L. Martin, 29, 2323 Third St., Berwick, was arrested Saturday at 11:59 p.m. on charges of possession of a Schedule III drug (Buprenorphine), driving under suspension, careless operation, warrant for two counts simple burglary and criminal damage to property and a warrant from Patterson Police for failure to appear on the charge of no license plate light and no proof of insurance. Martin was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail was set.
Joshua J. Perro, 27, 179 Eves St., Sorrell, was arrested Saturday at 11:30 p.m. and charged on a warrant for aggravated criminal damage to property and flight from an officer. No bail was set.
Timothy J. Hendon, 26, 204 Laura Drive, Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 11:35 p.m. and charged with simple assault and criminal damage to property. Hendon was later released on a summons to appear in court.
Kenneth Lee, 36, 123 Gumpoint Lane, St. Joseph, was arrested Sunday at 12:36 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of obscenity. No bail was set.
Antoinette O. Davis, 37, 501 Roderick Street Apt. #11, Morgan City, was arrested Monday at 12:04 a.m. on a warrant charging him with simple burglary and attempted burglary. No bail was set.
