Police Reports 11-30-15
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Christopher James Howard, 33, of 1016 Cypremort Rd., Jeanerette, was arrested Wednesday at 12:42 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. He was later released on an $899 bond.
Brandy Armond, 36, of 413 Tournament Blvd., Berwick, was arrested Wednesday at 5:10 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set.
Derrick Leman White, 35, of 156 Rogers Ln., Charenton, was arrested Wednesday at 7:11 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple obstruction of a highway and for a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. No bail was set.
Kevin Thomas Fromenthal, 43, of 801 Main St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 12:22 a.m. on the charge of driving while intoxicated. He was later released on a $10,000 bond.
George Jones Jr, 47, of 314 Ninth St., Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 4:46 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by appearing in an intoxicated state. He was later released on a $500 bond.
Robert Lee Ocon, 49, of 817 Waterworks Rd., Amelia, was arrested Thursday at 5:15 p.m. on a warrant on the charge of misdemeanor theft. He was later released on a summons.
Juvenile male, 16, of Jeanerette, was arrested Thursday at 9:59 p.m. on charges of aggravated assault and resisting an officer. The juvenile was released to a family member pending juvenile court proceedings.
Avery Hines, 28, of 1605 Jordan St., New Iberia, was arrested on Thursday at 10:17 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear to court on the charge of speeding. He was released on a $365 bond.
William Harness, 47, of 1405 James St., Siracusaville, was arrested Thursday at 10:55 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. No bail was set.
Juvenile female, 14, of Amelia, was arrested Friday at 7:03 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace and criminal damage to property. The juvenile was released back to family members pending juvenile court proceedings.
Nathan Leif, 35, of 1168 Delmar Rd., Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 8:33 p.m. and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, reckless operation of a vehicle and off road vehicle on a public roadway. He was later released on a $7,500 bond.
Jeffery Roman, 53, of 201 Gum Point Ln., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 10:34 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on the charge of speeding. No bail was set.
Domonic Robinson, 28, of Houma, was arrested Saturday at 8:33 p.m. and charged with simple battery. Bail was set at $500.
Juvenile female, 14, of Baldwin, was arrested Sunday at 12:27 a.m. and charged with resisting an officer and battery of an officer. The juvenile was released to a family member pending juvenile court proceedings.
Brandon Leblanc, 23, of 908 Alpha St., Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 10:01 a.m. and charged with simple assault and telephone harassment. Leblanc was transported to the parish jail and released on a $750 bond.
Desmon Cousin, 39, of 777 Oregon St., Berwick, was arrested Sunday at 12:27 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft. No bail was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Shana Jones, 29, of Joan Dr., Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 2:05 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. Jones was processed and released on a $500 bond.
Keondra Perro, 28, of Seventh Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 10:28 p.m. and charged with aggravated battery (domestic). Perro was processed and held with no bond set.
Mark Wesley, 20, of Easy Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 3:12 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana—first offense, remaining where forbidden, and disturbing the peace. Wesley was processed and released on a $2,750 bond.
Gerron Skipper, 27, of Dora Street, Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 1:42 a.m. and charged with possession of marijuana—third offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer by flight, possession of a firearm by persons convicted of certain felonies, illegal possession of a stolen firearm, illegal possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and illegal possession of a firearm in the presence on the premises of an alcoholic beverage outlet. Skipper was processed and held with no bond set.
Alter Moore, 32, of Lafayette, was arrested Friday at 3:06 a.m. on a warrant dated February 20, 2015, charging her with simple battery with medical attention. Moore was processed and released on a $500 bond.
Roger Campbell Jr., 25, of Third Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 2:56 a.m. on warrants for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of no driver’s license, possession of marijuana and resisting an officer. Campbell was processed and held on a $725 cash bond.
Earl Otis, 52, of Talbot Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 8:51 a.m. on a warrant dated November 15, 2015, charging him with simple assault. Otis was processed and held on a $250 bond.
Michael Jack, 43, of La. 83, Baldwin, was arrested Friday at 7:37 p.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by public intoxication. Jack was processed and held on a $500 bond.
James Fine, 34, of Orange, Texas, was arrested Saturday at 11:13 p.m. on a warrant for 14th Judicial District Court charging him with issuing worthless checks under $500. Fine was processed and held on a $250 bond.
Roger Campbell Jr., 25, of Third Street, Franklin, while incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department, was additionally charged Sunday at 2:45 p.m. with aggravated criminal damage to property (over $1,500), public intimidation and fire prevention interference. Campbell was processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
