Police Reports 12-1-15
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Charles Beverly Sr., 63, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 3:27 p.m. and charged with domestic abuse battery—first offense. Beverly was processed and held with no bond.
Derek Neville, 41, of Martin Luther King Blvd., Franklin, was arrested Monday at 5:51 p.m. on warrants on charges of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon, hit and run driving and reckless operation of a motor vehicle. Neville was processed and released on a $5,000 bond.
Harold Verdin, 40, of Sterling Dr., Houma, was arrested on Monday at 4:32 p.m. and transported to the Franklin Police Department from the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office on warrants charging him with attempted first degree murder and violation of a protective order. Verdin was processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center with a bond of $400,000.
Charles Beverly, 23, of Second Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 7:02 p.m. and charged with possession of Schedule I narcotics (synthetic marijuana). Beverly was processed and held on a $2,000 bond.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Addie Geneve Breaux, 33, of Pierre Part, was arrested Monday at 3:35 p.m. and charged with theft of goods. Breaux was released on a summons.
Willis Morris Jenkins III, 37, of 1006 Willow St., Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 1:03 a.m. on charges of no tail lights, no driver’s license, possession of a Schedule I narcotic and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $4,000.
