Police Reports 3-17-16

Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrest:
Lakisha Easter, 21, of St. Martinville, was arrested Tuesday and charged with remaining where forbidden and released on a summons.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrest:
Jenny Landry, 58, of 529 Teche Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Thursday at 12:22 a.m. and charged for an expired driver’s license. Following the traffic stop, Landry was released on a summons to appear in court.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrest:
Kevin James, 30, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday on two warrants for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of stop sign violation, no driver’s license, child restraint required, resisting an officer, child restraint required and driving under suspension. James was also arrested on several warrants for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on multiple charges. James was processed and held with no bond set.
