Police Reports 3-22-16

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the Narcotics Division made the following arrest:
Cheryl Ledet, 44, of 2820 Second St., Berwick, was arrested Friday at 11:52 a.m. and charged on a warrant for distribution of Schedule III (suboxone) and introduction of contraband into a penal institution. No bail was set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Anthony Jones, 35, of Donaldsonville, was arrested Friday at 2:18 p.m. and charged for unlawful use of state-issued identification to gain access to a gaming establishment and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. Jones was released on a $1,500 bond.
Courtney Jarvis, 34, of Belle Rose, was arrested Friday at 2:18 p.m. and charged with the following offenses: unlawful use of state-issued identification to gain access to a gaming establishment, flight from an officer, resisting a police officer with force of violence, resisting a police officer by giving false information and possession of Schedule I methamphetamine. No bail was set for Jarvis.
Wayne Hawkins, Jr., 30, of 1054 James St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 3:15 p.m. and charged for off road vehicles on a public roadway prohibited. Hawkins was released on a summons to appear in court.
Barry Davis Jr., 23, of 261 Easy St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 3:15 p.m. and charged for off road vehicles on a public roadway prohibited. Davis was released on a summons to appear in court.
Clarence William III, 23, of 603 Robert St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 3:15 p.m. and charged for off road vehicles on a public roadway prohibited. William was released on a summons to appear in court.
Christopher G. Fryar, 32, of 308 Mill Road, Patterson, was arrested Friday at 5:15 p.m. and charged with theft, resisting an officer, reckless operation of a vehicle and a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. Fryar was released after posting a $4,000 bond.
Caesar Romero, 51, of 160 Jupiter St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 7:45 p.m. and charged for possession of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. Romero was released on a summons to appear in court.
Danesha Moore, 26, of 508 Taft St., Patterson, was arrested Friday at 7:44 p.m. and charged for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. No bail was set.
Pedro O. Soto, 41, of Two Sisters Court, Bayou Vista, was arrested Saturday at 2:54 a.m. and charged for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driver must be licensed and driving left of center. Soto was released after posting a $2,000 bond.
William J. Hale III, 28, of 205 Cedar St., Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 12:26 a.m. and charged for the following offenses: operating a vehicle while intoxicated child endangerment, careless operation of a motor vehicle, license plate expired, motor vehicle inspection expired and no insurance. Hale was released after posting a $2,700 bond.
Cornelius Gant Jr., 58, of 410 Cleveland St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 4:21 a.m. and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, second offense, no headlamps, failure to signal a lane change and improper lane usage. Gant was released after posting a $3,250 bond.
Sherry L. Cooper, 31, of 7108 Park Road, Lot 8, Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 7:57 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to comply with court orders. Cooper was released on a recognizance bond.
Kayla M. Davis, 27, of 108 Moon Road, Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 10:43 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of careless operation of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle not covered by security (no insurance). Davis was released on a $750 bond.
Timothy Bertsch, 58, of New Orleans, was arrested Saturday at 10:01 p.m. and charged for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, improper lane usage and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bertsch was released after posting a $3,250 bond.
Amy E. Grow, 34, of 530 Orange St., No. 123, Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 8:48 a.m. and charged on a warrant for possession of Schedule I, third or subsequent offense, violation of a controlled dangerous substance law-drug free zone and possession of a CDS in the presence of persons under 17 years of age. No bail was set.
Chad Mendoza, 41, of 700 Hamm St., Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 10:06 a.m. and charged with careless operation of a motor vehicle, no insurance, license plate expired and no registration in vehicle. Mendoza was released on a summons to appear in court.
Brennan T. C. Burney, 18, of 906 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 10:39 a.m. and charged for criminal damage to property. Bail was set at $13,000.
Michael Wilkerson, 25, of 214 Mars Road, Apt. #1, Bayou Vista, was arrested Sunday at 12:09 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace-offensive words. Wilkerson was released on a $250 bond.
Austin M. Hebert, 18, of 106 Palmer Lane, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 6:02 p.m. and charged with careless operation of a motor vehicle, criminal damage to property, criminal trespass and two counts, contributing to the endangerment of a minor. Hebert was released on a recognizance bond.
Jarred Gaudet, 26, of 171 Aucoin Lane, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 6:44 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana, second offense and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set.
Desirae Eastling, 34, of 3624 Lake Palourde Road, Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 10:38 p.m. and charged for driving under suspension and no tail lamps. Eastling was released on a summons to appear in court.
John Demarco, 26, of 116 Chris Lane, Centerville, was arrested Sunday at 8:20 p.m. and charged for the following offenses: possession of Schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule IV (Xanax) with intent to distribute, violation of a controlled dangerous substance law-drug free zone, possession of drug paraphernalia, warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended license and following too closely and a City Court of Franklin warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set.
Bryce J. Tabor, 21, of 105 Hendricks St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 11:17 a.m. and charged with a warrant for cyberstalking and telephone harassment and two warrants from Lafourche Parish for possession of synthetic cannabinoids, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane usage and failure to pay fines. No bail was set.
Kathryn Vines, 43, of Jeanerette, was arrested Monday at 12:56 p.m. and charged on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. Vines was released on a summons to appear in court.
Antonie Jones, 26, of 136 Georgetown Road, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 9:55 p.m. and charged for driver must be licensed and possession of synthetic cannabinoids. Jones was released on a summons to appear in court.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Michael Jones, 59, of Lacy Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 11:54 a.m. on charges of failing to replace fire damaged outlet, utilization of unproved extension cords, non-approved wiring for exterior applications, provide grounding to electrical service panel, failure to secure electrical components, smoke detectors (16 counts.), failure to secure wiring (five counts.), failure to provide secondary means of escape (five counts.), failure to maintain sewer system (five counts.), failure to repair building electrical systems (nine counts.) and installation of lighting in an unsafe manner (three counts). Jones was processed and released on a $24,000 bond.
Stafford Hensley, 22, of Caesar Lane, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 12:26 a.m. for the charges of possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana), headlights required, stop sign violation and no driver’s license. Hensley was processed and released on a $2,750 bond.
Earl Otis, 52, of Talbot Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 6:57 p.m. for the charge of possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana). Otis was processed and held on a $2,000 bond.
Aeril Darby, 20, of Seventh Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 7:06 p.m. and charged on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charge of criminal trespassing. Darby was processed and held on a $5,000 bond.
Spencer Bourda, 25, of Pecan Drive, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 7:45 p.m. for the charges of misuse of temporary plate and driving under the influence. Bourda was processed and held with no bond set.
Michael Payton, 28, of Liner Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 10:26 p.m. and charged on warrants for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of issuing worthless checks, possession of marijuana and distribution of marijuana. Payton was also arrested on a warrant for Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office for the charge of issuing worthless checks. Payton was processed and held with no bond set.
Patrick Smith, 37, of Pine Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 1:07 a.m. for the charges of speeding by radar, stop sign violation, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving left of center, failure to use a turn signal, open alcoholic container and operating under the influence. Smith was processed and held with no bond set.
John Demarco, 26, of Chris Lane, Centerville, was arrested Monday at 8:24 a.m., and charged on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Demarco was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department and remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Brendan Comeaux, 23, of Third Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 12:12 p.m. on charges of commercial body art regulation registration, commercial body art regulation sanitation, obtaining a license prior to commencing of business, disturbing the peace by loud and profane language and possession of drug paraphernalia, second offense. Comeaux was also arrested on a warrant for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for the charge of home invasion. Comeaux was processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Anthony Wells, 63, of Antigo Alley, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 12:15 p.m., for the charges of speeding (63/45) and driving under suspension. Wells was processed and released on a $1,500 bond.
Vertress Loston, 37, of Lockett Rd., Franklin, was arrested Monday at 12:44 p.m., for the charge of simple criminal damage to property. Loston was processed and released on a $1,000 bond.
