Police Reports 9-18-15
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Mitchell Belanger Jr., 49, no address given, was arrested Thursday at 4 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of remaining where forbidden. No bond was set.
Peter Grogan Jr., 37, of 313 Railroad Ave., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 10:14 a.m. on failure to appear warrants on charges of domestic abuse battery, criminal neglect of family and unauthorized use of an access card. No bond was set.
Narcotics Division agents arrested Dontrey M. Triggs, 20, of 200 Williams St., Patterson, Thursday at 6:51 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Trent A. Gray, 28, of 602 Martin Luther King Ave., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 6:51 p.m. on a warrant charging him with probation violation.
Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division patrolling the Patterson area reportedly observed a vehicle cross the center line of La. 182 and conducted a traffic stop. Detectives made contact with the driver, identified as Triggs, and a passenger, identified as Gray. During the traffic stop investigation, detectives reportedly located two small bags of marijuana inside the vehicle belonging to Triggs. Triggs was released on a summons to appear in court on November 9, 2015. Gray was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail was set at $10,000.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Dewellyn Howard, 35, of Ninth Street, Franklin, Wednesday at 2:21 p.m. by the Jeanerette Marshal’s Office on warrants charging him with distribution of synthetic marijuana, failure to appear on charges of third offense possession of synthetic marijuana and criminal neglect of family. No bond was set.
Avery Perro, 35, of Elm Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 9:21 p.m. on a district court failure to appear warrant on a charge of criminal neglect of family and held on $15,731 bond.
McGuire said the following three arrests stem from officers responding to a complaint to remove subjects from a residence on Eighth Street. The three subjects allegedly struck the victim.
Mable Parker, 52, of Belle Rose, was charged Thursday at 3:50 p.m. on a charge of simple battery and issuing worthless checks. She was issued a summons on the checks charge and released on $500 bond on the battery charge.
Serilla Ward, no age given, of Gonzales, was arrested Thursday at 3:53 p.m. with simple battery and released on $500 bond.
Allison Fontenot, 47, of Calbert Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 3:53 p.m. on a charge of simple battery and released on $500 bond.
