Police Reports 9-24-15
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Monica Johnson-Brooks, 58, of Pine Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 3:10 p.m. on a warrant charging her with simple battery. She released on a $318 cash bond.
Joey Jack Sr., 40, of O’Neal Chube Drive, Franklin, was arrested today at 12:19 a.m. on a warrant charging him with simple assault. Bond was set at $250.
Spencer Bourda, 24, of Blakesley Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 1:29 a.m. on warrant for a parole violation. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Claude Hebert, 40, of 236 Elaine St., Baldwin, was arrested Wednesday at 9:06 a.m. on local warrants charging him with issuing worthless checks and failure to appear in court on a worthless check charge. He also was charged on Lafayette Parish warrants charging him with failure to appear on an armed robbery charge and unauthorized use of an access card. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Thomas C. Thompson, 42, of 113 Fernandez Court, Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 12:50 p.m. on two warrants for failure to appear for drug court status conferences. Bond was set at $200,000.
George D. Harvey, 33, of 115 Cane Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 10:14 p.m. by narcotics agents on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, violation of uniform controlled dangerous substance law in a drug free zone and possession of counterfeit cocaine with intent to distribute. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Aketa R. Francis, 23, of 301 Egle Street, Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 11 p.m. on warrants for failure to appear on a charge of simple battery and failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. Bond was set at $100,500.
Ronald Clark, 47, of Baton Rouge, was arrested Wednesday at 6:09 p.m. on charges of possession of crack cocaine, resisting an officer, obstruction of justice and simple escape. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Baldwin Police Chief Harry Smith reported the following arrests:
Mervin Miller, 28, of 203 Labau St., was arrested Sept. 17 on a 16th Judicial District Court warrant for failure to appear in court. He was jailed at the Law Enforcement Center.
Tara Nicole Toups, 33, of 203 Newman St., Baldwin, was arrested Monday at 6:49 p.m. on charges of criminal mischief and two counts of theft. She was released on bond.
Catrina Stewart, 36, of 207 John St., Baldwin was arrested on Sept. 17 at 8:17 p.m. on charges of contributing to delinquency of a juvenile and battery on a juvenile. She was released on bond.
Semiko Brown, 34, of 239 Coulee St., Baldwin, was arrested on Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. on a charge of simple assault and released on bond.
Kingsley Shearron, 30, of 114 Lockley St., Baldwin, was arrested on Sept. 17 at 9:41 p.m. on a charge of resisting an officer by flight and released on bond.
Joyce Weber, age unknown, of 409 Martin Luther King Street, Baldwin, was arrested on Sept. 17 at 8:44 p.m. on a charge of theft and released on bond.
