Sheriff's office seeks identities of men in Oct. 26 Walmart theft
Detectives are seeking the identity of two people seen Oct. 26 on surveillance loading over $1,200 in stolen items into a vehicle at Walmart in Bayou Vista, according to a St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office news release.
At 12:41 a.m. Oct. 26, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of a theft that occurred at Walmart in Bayou Vista. The responding deputy learned that two people stole over $1,200 in merchandise including a lap top computer and power tools, such as drills.
The detective assigned to case, gathered video evidence of two people leaving the store with the stolen items through the garden center area. The two suspects are seen loading the stolen merchandise into a vehicle and then leaving the area.
